This Blogsite is an attempt to bring all Punjabi University Patiala Pensioners -- Teaching, Non-teaching, Research, and Administrative -- on one platform with the sole intention of disseminating all information about Punjab Government Orders on Pension of pre-2006 and post-2006 pensioners, Dearness Relief as admissible from time to time, and any other information relevant to us. This is a stupendous task, which cannot be performed by any single individual, nor should it be left to one. Every pensioner who can keyboard and has access to any information which is of interest to Punjabi University Pensioners is welcome to contribute. The language used is English, but Punjabi is equally welcome; but those who opt for Punjabi have to ensure that they are familiar with Punjabi UNICODE FONTS, because this site will not readily accept other fonts. In any case, Unicode fonts facilitate online transmission.
To make a beginning, I am putting on this blogsite two recent orders on pension to pre-2006 pensioners, and to those who retired on 0.01.2006 or afterwards.
Suggestions are invited.
